Gurjeet has 22+ years of experience including administration, Human Resources management, general management, operations, communications and client relations management; developing and implementing Policies & Procedures; and leading senior management team in successful delivery of three major contracts.
She has been in the taxicab industry since 1998 and possesses the knowledge, skills and ability to effectively manage all aspects of the service.
Gurjeet brings a vast array of experience to her role. She has held various positions in private corporations, as well as a senior role as political staff in Municipal Government.
Since 1995, Gurjeet has regularly volunteered her time to make a difference in her community. She has done work for organizations such as the Red Cross; Community Living Toronto; Centre for Addiction and Mental Health; and South Asian Family Support Services.
Gurjeet has been a Board Member for a non-profit, professional networking organization. Her focus in this role was to organize and encourage participation in Community Service initiatives.
Today, Gurjeet manages all aspects of Toronto 1 Taxi and SCC Group’s client relations. Gurjeet’s primary focus remains to take the organization to the next level and continually improve client relationships and create new strategic partnerships with organizations and municipalities.
